Databricks Engineer
Databricks Data engineer (2-7 years)
Build and optimise data pipelines on Databricks, covering ingestion, ETL/ELT, medallion architecture and migration work.
At the senior level, you will also lead technical development and troubleshooting.
Must be Brisbane based 3 days a week hybrid in the city
Must-have skills
Databricks is the core requirement for every role. FastAPI is essential for the engineer role.
Data engineering core
- Hands-on Databricks experience with PySpark, SQL and Delta Lake
- ETL/ELT pipelines, medallion architecture and data ingestion at scale
- Databricks Workflows, notebooks and Databricks Asset Bundles
- Deployment, performance tuning and experience across the full engineering lifecycle
- Agile ways of working
- Unit testing
- CI/CD
- Azure DevOps
Good to have
- Databricks or Azure certifications
